Accepting Forgiveness

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Luke 15:7

We do not need to live lives stained with our own regrets. Nor do we need to paper over our faults and errors, desperately trying to convince ourselves and others that we don't have them. But there isn't a single action that must remain unexamined for fear that it is unforgivable. Nothing is unforgivable.
Our actions do have consequences, but the love of God will support us in the amends we must make.

We will be forgiven. Our question is not Will God forgive me? It is, rather, Will I humbly accept the grace God offers me to help me change this very moment?

Grateful...

There is much to be grateful to the Lord for. We are finally settled into our new home, one provided by our faithful God. We are blessed and joyful for the abundance in our lives. The kids have adjusted to the move, although I still feel as if I am staying in another person's home. Today, and these past few weeks, I again feel my calling to pray more, worry less, and find spiritual comfort in study and thoughts of His Word. I am thankful to those who lead me and remind me that it is God that should be the center of my life. It is incredibly easy to get wrapped in issues from work and the hub of daily living...but my goal is to always re-focus my mind to the purpose, the reason I am here...even if it is not a clear reason. I am such a failure but I will keep trying, everyday...

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

23 to go...

And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. ~1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
